August 14, (THEWILL) — Former lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has alleged that the opposition party, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) was effectively “sold” to President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) before former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike moved to “organise the funeral.”

Melaye made the allegation in a snippet from an interview on the Kaa Truth Podcast, released on his official X handle on Friday, August 14, 2026, while reflecting on his earlier declaration that the PDP was politically dead.
