Opposition lawmakers say there's no going back on the plan to impeach Buhari

Opposition lawmakers dismissed a report that the plan to remove President Muhammadu Buhari has been stepped down.

Opposition lawmakers in the National Assembly have insisted on their resolve to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari if he fails to address the security challenges in the country within six weeks.

Contrary to a report that the lawmakers have back down on their plan to impeach the president, the Senators in separate interviews with ThePunch, said there’s no going back on the impeachment move.

Reason for the Impeachment: The plan to impeach Buhari was considered following a series of attacks by terrorists in and around the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
