Abdullahi Ganduje: Kano Governor says Buhari will seek re-election by force.

Ganduje said he is also seeking a second term because the people of Kano are asking his administration to continue the works it started.

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano has warned that President Muhammadu Buhari must seek re-election in 2019 or face legal actions.

He said he told the President that the Kano State government would file a lawsuit against him should he decide not to run next year.

Ganduje stated this on Friday, April 6, while speaking to journalists in Abuja.
He also declared his intention to seek re-election in the 2019 governorship election for consolidation of the on-going developmental projects in the state.

The governor said, "APC governors want Mr President to continue. I am happy that it is not the president that said he wants to continue, it is the people that are saying continue. But Mr President has not made up his mind yet.
