2019 Elections: APC unmoved by Mbaka's Buhari prophecy.

The party said it cannot base its political decisions on prophecies.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has told the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka that the party is unconcerned with his prophecies about President Muhammadu Buhari's chances in the 2019 presidential election.

In a chat with independent on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, the party's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the party cannot base its political decisions on prophecies which is a "matter of personal conviction".

He said, "We cannot run a political party by prophecy. Prophecy is a matter of personal conviction or personal belief. The party cannot act based on any kinds of prophecies because we are not operating on that.

"We only act based on what is politically correct. People are free to believe such prophecies but our party will not act or take critical decisions based on prophecies."

At the New Year's eve service of his ministry at its Adoration Ground Emene in Enugu on Sunday, December 31, 2017, the priest warned President Buhari to change the course of direction of his administration or get ready to be voted out in the 2019 presidential election.

Even though he maintained that the president has good intentions, he said that he is in bondage as he's surrounded by a cabal that's bent on misdirecting him.

He said, "Change or you will be changed - God said that Buhari is in trouble. Buhari is hypnotised. Buhari is in a horrible bondage. Buhari’s mantra has been cannibalised.
