Dokpesi: AIT founder unveils new political party in Abuja.

Shitu Mohammed Kabiru has been appointed as the interim chairman of the new party.

Former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Raymond Dokpesi has teamed up with other politicians to unveil a new political party, the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA).

In an event currently going on at the Reiz Continental Hotels in Abuja, the founder of DAAR Communications has joined other disgruntled members of the crisis-hit PDP to form the new party.

Shitu Mohammed Kabiru has been appointed as the interim chairman of the new party with the executive committee yet to be constituted.

Former chairman of the Labour Party, Dan Anyanwu is another notable presence in the formation of the new party.

The slogan of the new party is "Stronger Toget‎her".
