Former foreign secretary David Miliband is being accused of ignoring the complaints of neighbours who have criticised the tenants in his London home for holding noisy parties.
The Milibands, who moved to New York in 2013, have leased their £3.5million house in Primrose Hill to Robert Soning, the son-in-law of Labour donor Sir David Garrard.
Neighbours have complained that Mr Miliband has done nothing, despite being told of the raucous parties in the upmarket neighbourhood.
"The Milibands are miles away so they're probably not interested. It doesn't really fit with their political profile," said one neighbour, according to MailOnline.
Residents have tried to set up a petition to pressure Mr Soning into toning down his parties, but he reportedly accused them of being "faceless cowards".
Mr Soning, who is director of more than 50 holding companies, admits holding the parties, but says the neighbours are too "sensitive".
"My daughter has had friends around. Music travels. The acoustics here really travel," he told the newspaper.
"There's not a lot of traffic or trees. The neighbours are extremely sensitive to noise around here and there have been complaints.
"These complaints have gone to David Miliband – he is aware of this."
