As Twitter turns 10, a look back at the 2016 candidates' first tweets.

Twitter celebrated its 10th anniversary on Monday, and many of its 320 million users — including Twitter founder Jack Dorsey — took the opportunity to revisit their first published tweets.

With the social messaging platform playing an outsized role in the 2016 presidential election cycle, it’s worth looking back at the nascent 140-character messages posted by the current and former candidates.
