Lamamra receives South African special envoys for Palestine.

ALGER- Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra received Sunday, in Algiers, South-African special envoys for Palestine, Zola Skweyiya and Aziz Pahad.

In a press statement following the audience, Skweyiya said he conveyed a message from President Jacob Zuma of South Africa to President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

"We have tackled different issues interesting both countries, especially the Palestine question," he underlined, adding that the meeting also focused on Algerian-South African relations.

Pahad, for his part, said his country has always considered exchanges with Algeria as a top priority.

The two sides raised the fight against terrorism and extremism, he added.
