PDP: Party apologised for allowing APC gain power - Ologbondiyan.

He assured that the party has what it takes to uplift the country despite its past mistakes.

The National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, revealed that the party is remorseful for allowing its failure herald the emergence of the ruling All Progressives' Congress (APC).

While speaking during an appearance on Channels Television on Monday, March 26, 2018, Ologbondiyan reacted to the position of party Chairman, Uche Secondus, who had tendered an unreserved apology to Nigerians for not living up to expectations in the 16 years it ruled before it lost the 2015 presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari's APC.

During the party's town hall event tagged 'Nation Building:Resetting The Agenda' in Abuja on Monday, Secondus said, "The PDP was in power for 16 years and as expected, we made mistakes. We are sorry for our mistakes and when we return, we shall make this country better. We have experience, no other party has it."
